 The POD for this TL is that [[Adolf Hitler (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Hitler]] decides to attack in the Mediterranean ([[Malta (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Malta]], [[Cyprus (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Cyprus]], [[Egypt (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Egypt]]) in late spring 1941. The [[Axis powers (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Axis]] do considerably better ITTL than IOTL, but are defeated eventually by the [[United States of America (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|US]], [[Britain (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Great Britain]] and the [[Soviet Union (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Soviet Union]] in 1945, too. The resulting world is still split into a democratic-capitalist and a communist block, but the further is definitely stronger.
