Can anyone give me some advice on a good book for university essay purposes to use about this? (The Royal Navy's success on the Western Front in WW1. Granted, it's a very poorly phrased question, but generally about the Royal Navy in the First World War.)
I was considering "Castles of Steel", but that looks like it only focusses on battles rather than, for example, the usefulness of the British naval blockade. ((EDIT: Just borrowed the book. It actually has a chapter about the Blockade.))
The question also focusses on role of the British Army, but I have a better idea of what books to use for that.
