That won't necessarily change their fate in the peace treaty, though they will lose another city on the Home Islands to Race retaliation. They used a freighter to ship the bomb to Rome. Hamburg caught it after that. The submarine was later used to hit Alexandria, after which Copenhagen disappeared.
