World War III is an alternate history documentary where in 1989 Gorbachov is deposed and replaced with a hardliner. The brutal crackdowns end up escalating to World War III. In February of 1990, Warsaw Pact launches a full scale invasion of NATO. It ends up escalating into a global thermonuclear war in April of 1990. Billions of people would likely be dead in the following months.
Before the war went nuclear, there was over a month of conventional warfare. However, the documentary focuses mostly the conflict in Europe and especially Germany. So my question is, what’s happening in the rest of the world during the conflict? What’s going on in places like Korea, the Soviet-Chinese Border, the Middle East, and Japan? Surely the would be conflicts there as well.
