World War I Color Photos

Yeah, those are very cool. I've got a book called The First World War that has a bunch of those in it. Quite a good book.
 
Fellas, I remember also seeing a few WWI colour photos in some of the TIME-LIFE Australia books on the AIF in WWI.
 
They could see in color back then!? (j/k)

Yeah...these are some very nice photos. They're definetely better than the colorized black-and-white shots I've seen.

I'm glad that you said that. The website states that the French were the only ones who used color film in the war. I knew that was not true. I remember sometime last year around ANZAC day the Daily Telegraph printed some newly discovered color photos of the AIF in Egypt. The photos had been discovered the year before and sent to the war museum in Canberra.
