Why are the WIP maps better than some in the map thread?

My hypothesis: Good maps take longer to make, giving the creators more time to get inpatient and post what they have so far in the WIP thread. And then there's always the chance that they stall out in the final few yards, before they get to post it in the Map Thread...

im flattered!but i have to agree with Falkanner, i just have tons of finished maps w/o keys or write-ups i just cant seem to finish

Yeah this thread is strewn with the haunting cries of incomplete maps. Many of them mine.
