Space Bats & Butterflies

I've recently released three of my books under the Space Bats & Butterflies brand. Two are collections of AH scenarios and shorter AH or time travel stories (roughly sixty percent scenarios and forty percent fiction). The third is a novel, first in a two-book series, where the lands of the New World disappear in February 1939, replaced by a New World inhabited entirely by Indians. That leaves the US Navy without a country and in a rough world, with the World War II Axis and Stalin looking at the resource-rich and vulnerable New World hungrily.

To make things a little more interesting, I timed the switch so that it happens during a historic giant US naval exercise in the Caribbean , with President Roosevelt observing from a cruiser. So we have the second largest fleet in the world, plus a few hundred thousand Americans who were overseas, without a country (except for Hawaii). The US remnants claims the territory that was US as their own and try to rebuild a US, with opposition from Indians, including a revived Aztec empire and the Axis.

The novel is fun, with a clash between the Bismarck and a Colorado-class US battleship and a German plot to trigger a scramble for North America. It's called New Galveston Book One: Operation Croatoan. (not a misspelling of Croatian). The Amazon link is: https://www.amazon.com/New-Galveston-Book-Operation-Croatoan-ebook/dp/B08R1GP4BB/

The two AH scenario and short story collections are called The Best of Space Bats & Butterflies volumes one and two. They are basically the best of the scenarios I've posted here and in my Alternate History Newsletters, but massively cleaned up and expanded in a lot of cases. They include a novel length scenario split between the books where the Germans go for Moscow in the spring of 1942 instead of heading south toward Stalingrad. I posted an older version on this forum, but this version cleans up some mistakes, tightens the scenario and expands it by about a third. I also include a lot of my best AH or time-travel fiction.

Both books include "Monday Morning Strategist" scenarios, where the reader gets put into a historic situation and invited to see if their historic knowledge will let them do better than a leader--Roosevelt in the lead up to Pearl Harbor, for example.
