Roman Prefectures Become Four Different Empires

An idea that has interested me is if the four Roman prefectures; Gallia, Italia, Illyricum, Oriens, become four different empires, completely separate to one another. I've got names for the new empires too; the Gallic Empire, the Italian Empire, the Illyrian Empire and the Empire of Oriens. What if?

It's an interesting idea.
But I still see the Empire of Oriens beeing the most successful one.

During Tetrarchy the 2 Augusti and the 2 Caesars had some kind of independence... Not full though but they were autonomous...
