Photos from Featherston's Confederacy/ TL-191

Tsarist Cossack troops participating in the Russian Occupation of Kiev in early 1942. Along with the various branches of the Tsarist Secret Police, the Cossacks in particular were noted for their brutality towards and their effectiveness in combating opponents of the Russian occupation of Eastern Europe behind the front lines. Although in the Ukraine, as elsewhere, the Russians found many sympathetic to their cause, the occupation forces targeted in particular German Immigrants, Pro German partisans, Jews, Freemasons, Socialists and Communists or anyone who it was believed would cause trouble or make resistance.

Nice. The Cossacks were like the NKVD/SS for the Tsarist Russia of mid 20th century

Here's my first contribution to this thread, enjoy:

US warplanes attacking the CSS Freedom and the CSS Beaumont in the Gulf of Mexico during the opening stages of the Second Great War:

The USA had almost zero presence in the Gulf during most of the war, and certainly no platform to launch warplanes.

Imperial Japanese troops lay dead after Confederate forces attack the Philipines:

That makes less than zero sense. Why would the Confederacy attack the Philippines? How would they get there? And why are they attacking an ally?

Yeah the Confederates attacking the Philippines is very, very out of character for the series. Also the U.S. attacking the CSS ships may have been possibly in 1944 but certainly not 1941.

The Confederates were allied with the EoJ? And I have changed the captions, are these new ones acceptable?

The Americans did not attack the EoJ either in WW2. Did you even read the books?

The only fighting between the U.S. and Japan that we know for sure was some naval/air combat around Hawaii. The Confederacy was nominally allied with Japan. The Japanese later betrayed the Entente when the war was clearly lost for them allowing the Japs to conquer Hong Kong and other Entente possessions. The Americans or Confederates never landed in the Philippines. Both were too focused on fighting each other.

The American attacking CSN ships is much better now but the Philippines one is still wrong. Perhaps say the Philippines had a minor rebellion and the Japanese resorted to shooting hundreds of civilians as revenge when they quelled the rebellion. While this was never stated in the books there is little to no information regarding Japanese ownership of the Philippines so there likely was a rebellion or two.

You didn't have to take the american planes attacking the CS ships out. The Philippines one did need to go but a new pic can be found that can be integrated better into the overall story.

Well, I think it's alright, but I do have a small nitpick: didn't the C.S.A. get rid of slavery in the 1880s? Anyway, just change that one caption with the flag slightly and we're good to go for sure. :)

A colour used photo of the Imperial Japanese flagship IJN Yamato on December 3, 1941. The photo was taken from the deck of the IJN Akagi as Yamato sailed from Midway to the Philipines for Operation Heigō Firipin:
