Federationception

Its a federation inside a federation.
Holds several islands dotted around the world. Maintains a post colonial sphere of influence similar to the commonwealth. This is set in 2025.

In which Westeros gets thoroughly messed up, with the POD in A Clash of Kings.

Long story short:

Arya has Jaqen kill Tywin instead of Weese.

Cersei ousts Tyrion from power in KL in the aftermath, sends Petyr Baelish on a mission to the Eyrie to avoid the threat posed to her personally by a Tyrell alliance (he had been on the road to establishing one at the time on Tyrion's orders), names Kevan Hand of the King.

The High Septon barely escapes being torn apart by the KL mob, decides to take a vacation in the Reach.

Stannis takes KL, his troops kill all the major Lannisters there, he heads south to capture Myrcella.

The Lannisters panic, alliances shift, things turn out roughly Lannisters/Starks/Tullys/Martells/Hightowers/Loras-and-Garlan-Tyrell ("Alliance of Free Kings") vs. Baratheons/Other-Tyrells/Arryns vs. Greyjoys, with a few smaller houses deserting their Lords Paramount.

Somebody R'hllor-affiliated sets fire to the Great Sept, and everybody freaks out.

The restoration of the Faith Militant is declared, first by an angry peasant army in the Reach and then by the High Septon.

Religious fanatics secretly break into Highgarden, assassinate major Tyrells, declare a New Westerosi Order. Major Reach houses declare independence.

Tides of religious war, often combined with peasant/lower nobility rebellion, sweep across the South, changing alliances again. Baelish offs Lady Lysa Arryn (by then his wife), becomes Lord Regent, switches sides. Now it's Stannis vs. Starks/Tullys vs. Greyjoys vs. Everybody, with a good deal of internal warfare in the "Everybody" camp.

The non-Faith-of-the-Seven powers are defeated, yet violence continues (largely in efforts to suppress the peasant armies, but also in squabbles for control of the Reach and Stormlands).

Confederation of the 100 (actually 81) Lords and Kings created in Oldtown, with the "Kings" often not being very powerful. Only Kings are allowed to take other Lords as vassals, though, and the meetings of the Confederate Council occur at the royal seats.

Baelish unites the three kingdoms he rules (as Regent of Mountain and Vale, King of Harrenhal, and Regent of Duskendale) under one High King, chosen by the nobility from among the three Kings. Guess who is High King.

The major organizations that interlock with each other are:
-The Confederation of the 100 Lords and Kings.
-The several independent Kingdoms.
-The Alliance of Free Kings, which has its own administration and navy.
-The various kingdom-vassal setups within the Confederation.
-The Three Kingdoms, which includes the Confederate Kingdom of Duskendale, but not Duskendale's vassals.
-The Red Banner Alliance, which in practical terms operates similarly to a kingdom-vassal organization but is officially made up of perfectly equal Lords.
-The Gulltown Pact, which is mostly a trade organization but includes a military component.
-The Faith of the Seven, which is stronger and more regimented after the Wars of the Seven and controls a good deal of land.

EDIT: There are two 8s in the key, but only one on the map. The second one should be on King's Landing.

So it's a bit closer to a schematic than a map, but I've checked with Krall and it should be alright. That said, if people generally feel it's not really enough of a map, I'm happy to withdraw it. Pretty self-explanatory otherwise.
