I'm sorry, but I am too lazy about writing nearly the whole Versailles treaty from the 3rd September of 1918, so here is a small wrap-up (only more important parts, almost no mention of the Entente) and a map:

Germany:
- loses Alsace-Lorraine to France
- loses large parts of Silesia, Posen, Eastern Prussia and Western Prussia to the new Republic of Poland-Lithunia
- loses Danzig to League of Nations (international free city)
- minor territory losses to Belgium and Denmark
- loses all oversea colonies

Austria-Hungary:
- dissected, Austrian mainlands remain
- loses territories to Romania
- loses territories to Italy
- new nation: Yugoslavia
- new nation: Hungary
- new nation: Czechoslovakia
- recieves war guilt
- is renamed to Republic of Austria

Ottoman Empire:
- dissected, most parts of Anatolia remain
- loses territories to Greece
- loses territories to the UK (Iraq, Palestine, Jordan), France (Syria, Libanon) and Italy (Hatay)
- loses Constantinople to League of Nations (international free city)
- loses territories to Saudi-Arabia
- is renamed to Ottoman Republic of Anatolia

Bulgaria:
- loses territories to Greece

Albania:
- loses territories to Greece
- taken over by Italy

Russia:
- officially recognized
- new nation: Finland
- new nation: Estonia
- new nation: Latvia
- new nation: Poland-Lithunia
- loses territories to Romania

Oh, and I have a small piece of information:
Lenin will become the focus of 1919, after I told you something about the new governments in Russia, Germany, Austria and Anatolia.

Certainly not, because both of them are currently in prison and after that I will probably follow Michel Van's advice to let Stalin become a preacher and Trotsky will go to a place where communism is pretty popular, but he won't go to Switzerland, I can tell you that much.

Intriguing timeline, I must say

I like the alternate Versailles. I think the allies would have been much smarter in keeping Germany as one nation OTL, so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Looks awesome! I'm frightened to see Commie Swiss, and I suspect that between that and the war guilt, we might see some Red Austrians.

Anyway, question: is reason the Palestine and Jordan and separate in Versailles? IOTL, they were considered a single territory.

Jordan and Palestine are seperated in *Versailles because of their cultural difference (many Jews in Palestine).

@spangler:
A general socialistic attitude will spread in almost every nation with large social differences, even Russia gets to be a Social Democratic nation because of the still strong left influence.

And now something general:
I think of rewriting some parts of the *Versailles peace treaty, including Courland instead of Estonia and Latvia and more gains for the Italians in the Middle East (expansion to the center). Also I think of improving the borders of Germany and Poland-Lithunia, as well as Greece and Bulgaria. What do you think?

PS: here is also the new map showing my new ideas, as well as indicating the new countries by numbers (which, I have to admit, were chosen at random) and new protectorates by letters. Depending on the feedback, I would edit *Versailles to fit with the new map.

EDIT: The thread is currently put on ice, I might return to it sometime later.
