Self Deprecating Gnosis
From the Codex Hyacinth
In the beginning, there was. And when there was, there are. And when there are, there will be. All things are, and all things were, and all things will become. And in becoming, they will be as they were, as they are. This is the Truth.
Iyyan the Mahderati came from the Truth. He was not the Truth, as the Truth surpasses even the divine, but he was part of the Truth. From the great primordial web, Iyyan fashioned the Board. And the board was, as it is, and as it will be. The Board is not the Truth, but it is a vessel of the Truth. Iyyan called out into the darkness, saying "come, let us shape worlds in our image and likeness" and so it was.
The gods said "let us create a world like our own, and populate it in our likeness." And so they did. They created vast templates of their world, all perfect, all virginal, all able to be used at will by any of them. The gods then said "Let us populate these worlds with beings like ourselves, but differing in culture and history." And so they did. The first few worlds were crude and hollow, with broken and nonsensical features, and which were forgotten in the depths of time.
But the gods became more talented. They created more and more worlds. They honed their skills. They became more powerful. Soon, they created better basemaps. Conventions on creation were held. A culture formed around creation. Soon, the gods began to try to delegate their creativity to lesser beings. These great bats could reform worlds just like the gods could, but they were rash and impulsive, and had no regard for any kind of logic. They were not evil, just chaotic. And soon, their power was crippled, so that they were only used when chaos was needed.
And yet, all is not well. The gods truly have all ability in creation. They could create worlds at their fingertips, and establish nations like they were painting. Some of the more powerful ones could create massive detailed worlds, down to the smallest town being created and nurtured. But for all their power, they chose to have evil reign. A vast majority of these worlds have either the Nazis, a genocidal empire, or the Confederates, a rather unstable slavocracy, succeed and thrive, and inflict pain upon the world. For every one of these worlds, there could be a utopia, but instead, there was darkness.
And then, one of the minor gods, Auqqa, said to himself "let the people of my worlds be gathered together, so that I may create a homeland for them" And thus, they were. Summoning all of his feeble power, he created a world in his own image, unlike the world that was created by the other gods. And thus, he took 120,000 from each world he created, and planted them, and said "All that is here is yours, go forth and multiply."
Auqqa, however, still had darkness within his heart, and this expressed itself in his creation. The nations of this world fought against each other, and even after 300 years of coexistence, rivalries appeared. Instead of one great, united people, the world fractured into several different nations. The few that did choose to come together fled to Kyrannis, where they remain to this day.
Perhaps if another god attempted this, things would have gone differently. Ubvot'ahthuulgi and Zalzesky, the Great Fashoners, were surely powerful enough for the task. Or Bhurno or Byedock or Toikstohrii, or any of the all-laudable Glorious Ones, who are nearly 30,000 in number. Or perhaps one of the great Mahderati.
Ultimately, Auqqa is not good, but perhaps one of the gods may be. And thus we pray. Perhaps Suyyisvirth shall allow thine crops not to wither in the sun. Perhaps Bakonhimyyr shall allow you fertility. Perhaps the great Emperor of Kianfeng shall ward off war. Of the patronages of the many gods, there is not time nor space.
However, Aquua will not hesitate to fight about this. He has established himself as dominion over this world, and is not keen to release it. There are those who will always remain loyal to him, as he is, in truth, our creator. But is it not meet and right to revolt against a tyrant? And thus, we fight on. Perhaps our resistance shall be considered worship by the other Gods, and in this worship, they may come to salva...

And thus, glory and honor, and valor, and power, and dominion will be unto us, and we shall enter the world of the gods, and we will become the gods, and the gods will know the truth, and the truth shall render unto us the Truth, and the Truth will set us free, and the Flame will burn within us forever and ever.
From the Codex Lapis-Lazul
"And Aquua looked unto us, and said "Lo! I have created you! You are my children! All of these worlds are yours for the taking! Go, therefore, and spread yourselves across the stars, and conquer them, for they are yours."
And there was war in heaven..."
