If you go into the ASB forum, there is an 'ASB map' thread. There is also a 'Frivolous ASB Ideas' thread. That joke of a map (and I'll admit that I laughed out loud when I saw it, especially Meg's land

If you want comments, just make a confederate victory-wank map with an outdated basemap and straight borders 7 pixels thick.

Reposting from MotF - I hope you all like it.
From an artistic standpoint that is a bad use of complementary colors, especially since they aren't even the same tone. As for the map sans that point and your scenario I love it not just because of my love of Amerindian Alternative History, but also the idea of keeping megafauna around. Brilliant, just brilliant.

My artistic process is a little chaotic, so I didn't really consider complementary colours and tone when making it - I just wanted the road colour to stand out against the different shades of green. I suppose I should've made the red a bit brighter, but there seemed to be some issue when turning an InkScape drawing into a PNG where the colour's shade would change slightly, but noticeably. I think it came out looking pretty good, despite that.

The Morean Despotate, or Lydian Thalassocracy expanded furiously first defeating the Antioch King in Cyprus, before defeating the King of Epirus forcing the Cessation of Western Cyprus from the former, and Securing a portion the Chalkidike, and the Exarchate of Bali in Sicily from the Later
The Imperial Remnant In Byzantion Survived a vicious war between the Tyrnovo Empire, and the Calkira Dynasty, and through incredible subterfuge destoryed the later, and through Luck was able to defeat the Former, who ended up facing massive onslaught from the Balkan Devil Theo of Serbia, and the Dovian King Antrachos
