What I want to see is a Japanese backstab of the Entente. At this point, the potential gain of Singapore, Malaya, Hong Kong, Alaska, the Russian Far East, Australia, India, etc. or any combination thereof would be a hell of a lot more than the value of Hawaii and the string of atolls heading west from it.

the USA has more than one carrier, in Return Engagment the Rememberance and another carrier were tricked into leaving Bermuda when Enos jr.'s fishing boat was attacked, plus they say several times that the USA's other Carriers are in the Atlantic fighting the Brits and CSA's navies, and can't be spared for fighting the Jap's. though i don't understand that thinking on the US's War department...they seem really stupid, expecially after Custer's and Morrell's use of Tanks in the Great War and not using the tactics from that in the new war
