So the other day I picked up Dies The Fire out of boredom and thoroughly read the book over three days. I’m currently on The Protectors War and I’m loving it.

So I thought I would start a discussion thread for the series. Have you read the books? And if so did you enjoy them?

So I just finished the first series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Currently reading the first book of the second series and it is broader in scope. If I had any complaints I would wish two scenes were longer, being the fight between John Hordle and Mack and the duel between Norman Arminger and Mike Havel.

I’m even thinking of writing a fanfic where the Change occurs in 2023 and instead of Nantucket, Block Island goes back in time, In this story 1300.
