Crown Prince Rupprecht for President in 1932

Germany had so far not taken a stand with regard to Yugoslavia,Bulgaria and Greece. While Germany had traded with Bulgaria, Greece and Yugoslavia relations with each of the nations varied. Bulgaria had been a German ally in WW1 while Greece had joined the Allies. Yugoslavia faced internal pressures. Recently Greece had been moving toward Germany. The Baltic on the other had had strong relations with Germany.

There will only be a Cossak state in the New Russia if the New Russian Government creates one. Germany and the other allied states only supported an Independent Ukraine and latter Georgia and Armenia and with the conclusion of the war and the signing of a peace treaty the matter became closed as far as the other European states were concern. The Russian Parliament has granted some measure of self rule to the Cossack people within a territory.
Marshal Vlasov had recommended some rewards for loyalty of the Cossack People to the New Russian State.

Vlasov deserves the chance to be a great leader, instead of a well meaning man on the wrong side of a world encompassing orgy of blood.

On another note, i wonder if there is a national youth movement, under His Highness, and the beloved Red, White and Black?
Alfred Hugenberg must be having a good time.

The Kaiser endorse a move to restore the Red,White and Black flag as the national flag. The Crown Prince recommended a German version of the Boy and Girl scouts.

Now we are cooking friends, Hegemony without war and mass murder, is perhaps the best outcome for Europe. Could Imperial Germany, provide aide to the Zionist cause?

Germany's Foreign Minister met with his British counterpart to discuss Palestine and the question of Jewish settlements there.Britain had faced pressures from the Jewish community and from some in the Palestinian community. German had spoken to the Polish, Ukrainian Austrian,Hungarian and other governments and all believed that the Jewish community should be given a chance to form a homeland. Thus in 1949 Britain would allow 500,000 European Jews to enter Palestine. Britain had increased the size of the garrison to 2 full divisions

Britain announced that it would gradually reduce forces in Palestine. His Majesty's High Commissioner for Palestine had met with members of the Jewish and Arab Communities and had attempted to get both sides to work together. There were radicals on both sides but the Muslim Arab radicals seemed more violent and had attacked Jewish settlements. In June 1949 armed Jewish settlers struck back and explosions were heard in the night. An investigation by the British Military Police CID unit identified the bodies of the Palesinians that were found to include 6 known terrorist.

Italy maintain a large military establishment in Libya. The withdrawal from Italian East Africa had created a lot of problems. Italian settlers had left what was once again to become Ethiopia as there was no desire to remain in the wasteland that was considered Somalia. Some of the settlers returned to Italy while others accepted the Italian governments offer of land and housing in Libya. The discovery of oil in that colony lead to a boom in spending. Italy maintained 10 divisions in the colony both to protect it and to maintain order. This resulted in Britain continuing to maintain a garrison in the Canal Zone in Egypt

Independence for the future state of Israel was agreed to by the British Government which controlled the Mandate for Palestine. It had hammer out an agreement with the Jewish and Palestinian group and had gotten an agreement from Jordan. France had been pressing the Lebanese and Syrian colonial governments to agree if they wanted to move toward independence. France and Britain had agreed to the establishment of a Kurdish state by taking lands from Syria and Iraq with a Kurdish Majority.

Senator Robert Taft was elected President in November 1948. He beat President Truman ,who had replaced the late President Franklin D Roosevelt ,who had died in office.
The public was unwilling to give Truman a full term as President. The President elected announced that he would continue a policy approved by President of supporting the establishment of a Jewish state in the Middle East.

The British withdrawal from Palestine was an orderly one . Some of the British troops moved overland to the Canal Zone, some left for Cyprus but a division was aboard transports on its way home to Britain. The Jewish Brigade reform and expanded as the new government of Israel came into being. Some of the Arab population had fled but Jordan refused entry and Lebanon did the same. Refugees arrived in Egypt and Syria but most of the Arab Population remained in place waiting to see what would happen. The newly proclaimed Israeli Army had buyers in the US and Europe seeking weapons. It acquired a dozen Sherman tanks and half tracks from US sources. It pick up surplus small arms from British sources including mortars and machine guns..

The New Israeli Military had acquired a lot of surplus military equipment picking up 12 Me109G and 12 Spitfires. It also bought 3 B-17s and 6 B-25. More tanks and Half tracks were added to the army.

The New Israeli Military did not have too much to worry about. The French discouraged Lebanon from becoming involved.Jordan refused to get involved and Britain discourage involvement by Iraq and Egypt. The fact that Britain had a reinforced division in the Canal zone. An attempted coup in Egypt had failed due to failure of all of Egyptian military to support it. The fact that Italy had 6 divisions in Libya was not lost on some Egyptian Generals

Britain, Germany, Austria, Poland, the United States,Czechoslovakia , Netherlands, France, Italy, Canada, Greece and Russia all recognized the new country of Israel. After taking a beating the Syrians sought a cease fire. The Israeli Army consisted of 2 armored Battalions ,3 artillery battalions and 9 Infantry Battalions.

There were demonstrations in Cairo outside of the British Embassy. The British Government called in the Egyptian Ambassador who was told by the British Foreign Minister that the Demonstration needed to stop immediately or else Britain would be forced to take action which might include military action.
The Israeli government announced that it would be increasing its military force and was accepting Jewish immigrants fro Europe Parliamentry elections would take place in 1951. A military mission went to the US to buy military equipment to expand the Army and Air Force.

Would there also be a large influx of Jewish settlers from eastern Europe in this world without the mass murder of six and a half million? One wonders if some degree of toleration between Jews, and Arabs might be possible earlier?

Were the British ITTL smart enough to NOT pardon Amin al-Husseini from his 10 year sentence for leading a riot (1920), and NOT appoint him Grand Mufti of Jerusalem (1921)?

The British had taken a much more hard line in Palestine to those who would use violence Amin al Husseini served the full 10 years and thus held no position of power or influence. The result was that when independence was declared only a small number of Palestinians fled to Syria. Jordan and Lebanon stayed out of it and with the British still maintaining a force in the Suez Canal Zone Egypt 's military was unable to get involved. The presence of more than 6 divisions of well armed and trained Italians in Libya caused a pause and a coup to overthrow the Monarch failed.

January 1952 Britain sold Israeli 125 used Centurion MBT and the country acquired another 90 from other countries. It also had 450 Sherman tanks and had replaced the Me-109s and Spitfires with P-51s
