This is the beginning of a series in which AH.com will decide who the greatest U.S. President of all-time was. Each of the five parties that has elected a U.S. President (Democratic, Republican, Democrat-Republican, Federalist and Whig) will have it's own primary. You the AH.com members can then cast your vote for one President in each primary. If no President receives a majority then a second round will be held between the top two (although this won't be necessary in the Federalist primary, since there will only be two candidates). The winner will move onto the general election. Each poll will run for three days.

First off, it's the Whig primary. The candidates are William Henry Harrison (1841), Zachary Taylor (1849-1850) and Millard Fillmore (1850-1853).

Who gets your vote?

William Henry Harrison wins a clear majority and progresses to the general election. Next up is the Federalist primary.
