Alexander the Great

Just watching the film on tonight, What if Alexander married a Macedonian noble women before he set out on his Asian Campaign? Say a year after ascends the throne - to placate his mother, then year after said wife has a son.

So in 334BC Alexander the Great has a son, how will this change how he acts, if atall - i think he'd still go on his campaigns but would he stay more Greek so less hellenization etc?

Then when Alexander dies his heir will be 11/12 - will this make a big difference or will they be killed same as the others were because there to young to effectivly rule?

- Another question will his heir be brought up Greek/Macedonian or will he be brough up hybrid Persian/Greek?
My first thought is he'll be predominatly Greek, though with a more eastern mindset.
