The AHC/WI here is to make the Loyalist paramilitaries during the Troubles (UVF/UFF etc) as deadly as the Organisation armée secrète (OAS) was in the Algerian War. They had a really gruesome history, but they never reached the deadliness and notoriety of the OAS in OTL.
