AHC sucesful Anti-Hitler coup

What would it take for any faction of anti-Hitler plotters to sucesfull take control of Nazi Germany and specially which members of the Nazi regime would need to be captured/arrested/killed to prevent a counter coup assuming the plotters took power like the July 20 plotters did only for their coup to collapse with Hitler surviving bomb and other members of the regime able to contact him and convince some of the forces supporting the plotters to support Hitler and the Nazi regime and retake power.

There very nearly was one in 1938 called the Oster Conspiracy.

If the Munich Agreement had fallen through and the Germans had to go to war against Czechoslovakia over the Sunderland, then the German Army would have removed Hitler.

The coup was planned by Generalmajor Hans Oster, who was in charge of German military intelligence, and involved many of the people who would later be involved in the July 1944 coup.

They fully expected war to breakout over the Sunderland, and the whole thing collapsed when that didn’t happen.
