  1. Imagining A Different Malta!

Malta is part of the Commonwealth. Keeping the Monarchy would have made it a Commonwealth Realm.
  2. WI-Lincoln invades Canada

Would a war against Britain be short?
  3. CH: Make the Canadian video game industry dominate the market

More like a quarter of Japan's population, but Canada's dominance wouldn't have to be based on domestic consumption; about 80% of Nintendo sales are overseas. Britain has a very talented developer base, if you kill that off through let's just say excessive tax, I think they'd also jump to...
  4. Is a Conservative majority in 2010 actually possible?

What about the DUP? Don't they most of the time vote in line with the Tories? Wouldn't that de facto increase the majority?
  5. Best Intelligence Service of WW2

I think Britain's overall intelligence efforts should be labelled under the Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI), which was the overall War Office department that was in charge of the various sections.
  6. No British inventions.

WWW maybe, but didn't the British also invent the steam engine?
  7. WI The US lost the war of 1812

I don't think the fact that they managed to reach a treaty settlement is any sort of victory or accomplishment considering what America set out to do when it invaded Canada. It would be if Britain had started the war with the intention of conquering America, but they didn't.
  8. WW1 Ends in 1919 question

Britain completely occupied German East Africa. They aren't going to relinquish it because Lettow-Vorbeck is leading a small band of men on a jungle guerilla campaign based out of Mozambique.
  9. us enters ww1 in 1914

Then patriotism doesn't really come into the equasion, does it?
  10. A Normandy WI

Didn't the Allies, or rather the Americans, declare at Casablanca that they would only accept the unconditional surrender of Germany?
  11. Napoleonic invasion of Britain

    Admiral Jervis was that?
  12. Could Rommel have survived the purge?

Rommel was not a member of the Nazi party, the Afrika Korps was never accused of war crimes and Nazi party officials reported that he constantly criticised their 'incompetence' and unnecessary crimes, so how exactly is it a myth?
  13. "Soccer" WI: Ryan Giggs was English

Sir Alex severely restricted the number of friendly games Giggs played for Wales, he only managed 64 caps in 16 years. Do you think he would do the same if he was English, because Scholes and the Neville brothers never really had that problem, it would be a bit unfair to only not release Giggs?
  14. A second take on dictatorial Britain

Apparently after the Great War a conservative mp said that victory had made David Lloyd George so popular that he could be made dictator for life if he wishes. So let's say the Welshman did want it, could it really happen? And how?
  15. U.S. Decides against the Lend Lease Act

What percentage of British military spending did lend lease contribute?
  16. Hong Kong-styled deal between Argentina and Britain regarding Falklands

What exactly does Britain get out of that deal?
  17. Fate of Egypt in a CP victory?

How can Germany force anything on Britain? A defeat on the continent wont stop Britain capturing German colonies and holding the balance of power outside Europe.
  18. Which is the best paradox game?

I love the economic side of Victoria. Would have voted for the sequel but the late game lag and non stop rebellions ruins an otherwise great game.
  19. British after DEFEATED Sealion

When was the fortification of the English coast finished in OTL? I know that by 1941 Britain was near impenetrable, with beach blockades, barbed wire, minefields, anti-tank concerete bollards, pillboxes, machine gun posts, anti-tank trenches, more minefields, more pillboxes, killing fields...
  20. American Sealion

I'd imagine Britain would premptively invade Ireland. They had plans to do so if the Nazi's tried to invade and use it as a base.
