  1. The Union Forever: A TL

    I vote for Minerva.
  2. Suppose the Dakota Territory hadn't been divided?

In an unpublished TL of mine, I made OTL Linton, ND, the capital of a unified Dakota. It's location would be fairly central (at least, more so than Yankton or either of the OTL state capitals).
  3. White Star and Titanic, What Could have Been

True. In fact, White Star could very well become the dominant partner (should the merger still happen ITTL). They may even get to complete the third Oceanic.
  4. White Star and Titanic, What Could have Been

I've always had a fascination with Titanic (and early 20th century passenger liners in general), and am eagerly looking forward to wherever you take this. Hopefully Britannic will survive WWI this time around.
  5. The M-BAM Main Thread

It's 3 times the size of the QBAM.
  6. The M-BAM Main Thread

That was me (did most of the Lesser Antilles). Unfortunately, I scaled the map up by 9 instead of 3. I may or may not redo it sometime in the future.
  7. Portuguese colonies in caribbean

Portugal (along with Spain) had a claim to Barbados for roughly a century prior to the beginning of English settlement of the island in the 1620s. Perhaps Spain colonizes the island sometime in the mid-1500s, and then Portugal takes it with them after the Iberian Union is dissolved.
  8. The M-BAM Main Thread

I'm going to be working on the major islands of the Caribbean. I'd already done most of the Lesser Antilles before realizing it was far too big, so that's where I'll start - at the right scale this time around - and go from there.
  9. The Union Forever: A TL

    No. 1.
  10. The M-BAM Main Thread

Here's my start on the Caribbean. Finished the Windward Islands, Barbados, and most of the Leeward Islands. Moving on to the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico next.
  11. The M-BAM Main Thread

Is anyone currently working on the Caribbean? If not, I'd like to take a crack at it.
  12. The consequences of an errant shell

Oh, the Russians will adequately intervene. And when they do, Chiang won't know what hit him.
  13. The Union Forever: A TL

Perhaps autocraft? You could abbreviate it as 'AC' for short (e.g. AC-1 Eagle Eye for a surveillance drone).
  14. The Union Forever: A TL

I believe Gordonia is supposed to be roughly OTL South Sudan. As for Aksum, I'm guessing it's TTL's name for Eritrea (which also includes Djibouti, if I'm not mistaken).
  15. The Union Forever: A TL

Wasn't Samoa in its' entirety a US territory at this point as well, or was that retconned? And great update, Mac Gregor. I like that there's still an Army Air Corps.
  16. The consequences of an errant shell

Yeah... the Russians have more subs/destroyers alone than the Chinese have ships, plus the IRN generally has the advantage of more modern vessels... Something tells me the naval theater of the upcoming war will more than likely end up going pretty heavily (if not decisively) in favor of the...
  17. The consequences of an errant shell

    Concorde should be Concord.
  18. The consequences of an errant shell

Excellent! Even better than I expected. This was where the Allied technical superiority over Japan showed the most, by far. Final IJN curtain call indeed.
  19. The consequences of an errant shell

Point taken about the CLAAs. I have no doubt the US-Russian force will come out on top, and probably pound every major Japanese ship into a burning wreck, though the Big Four BBs are going to take a lot to finally bring down. I'm definitely looking forward to Montana vs. Kozuke. This is...
  20. The consequences of an errant shell

With the IJN giving its' best here, for starters, I can't see any of the American AA cruisers surviving very long in a big gun battle. They'll probably lose a half-dozen or so destroyers and maybe one or two of the Russian cruisers as well. The battleships are a bit harder to guess at, but...
