  1. An Age of Miracles III: The Romans Endure

Off topic but I’m thinking about how the current Rhomanian emperors are descended from Timur and how the OTL Mughal dynasty was descended from him. Any Siderot equivalents to the OTL Mughal emperors because of this?
  2. An Age of Miracles III: The Romans Endure

I would like to see how Persia is able to move on from the war, knowing it somewhat went well in their favor.
  3. The Death of Russia - TL

The Eastern Orthodox faith must be extremely traumatized after all that has happened. How are the adherents outside Russia (and Ukraine, who wants to be the faith's new leader) taken it?
  4. An Age of Miracles III: The Romans Endure

That being said I wonder what racism will look like in Rhomania.
  5. Bush vs. The Axis of Evil - TL

I heard you're going to leave the site in a week @Sorairo I just wanna say thank you for everything once again.
  6. The Death of Russia - TL

Thanks for understanding. I really appreciate it. Didn't know you are autistic as well.
  7. The Death of Russia - TL

Hey @athgtq16129 can you not use the word "autistic" here? Besides the fact that it's not how the word is supposed to be used here, it is incredibly insulting towards autistic people like myself.
  8. An Age of Miracles III: The Romans Endure

I can see the multicultural nature of the empire being the basis for civic Rhomanian nationalism.
  9. Una diferente ‘Plus Ultra’ - the Avís-Trastámara Kings of All Spain and the Indies (Updated 11/7)

While I know the whole point of this TL is supposed to be a Spanish wank where not being ruled by the Habsburgs helps Spain immensely, I can't help but wonder if their fall would be just as great as their rise too similar to OTL.
  10. What is a common thing or trope that always seem to happen?

At first. But then they blew it in the end with a serious of really bad decisions. IMO realistic wanks mean things are generally much better for a nation than OTL but that won't mean they are prone to faults or that other nations can one-up them too. Spain could've had a wank but wasted it on a...
  11. What is a common thing or trope that always seem to happen?

This is something I noticed too. Very rarely do I see voluntarily annexations (pan-ethnic movements notwithstanding) where country A doesn't coerce country B into joining but rather does do them a good favor and gives them a choice on whether to join or not (and if not the two can agree to a...
  12. What is a common thing or trope that always seem to happen?

Not necessarily. Improvements don’t mean wanks. A wank is when a nation gets vastly improved upon and where everything goes perfect. About the last part: countries requesting to be annexed; I thought about whether it would count at as a wank for countries to be voluntarily annexed only if that...
  13. What is a common thing or trope that always seem to happen?

I haven't. That period of history is usually not my interest, but I will take a look at it.
  14. What is a common thing or trope that always seem to happen?

Too often, when I see country TLs/scenarios, it's either a complete wank or a complete screw. Like either countries that get wanked stay that way, or countries that get screwed stay that way. I would appreciate seeing scenarios where countries see more frequent changes in fortune where they...
  15. What is a common thing or trope that always seem to happen?

Sure but they still managed to be important enough for the great powers to depend on them.
  16. Map Thread XXII

But what about selling it across the world? There’s probably a huge demand for it in some places.
  17. Map Thread XXII

Sure, though the government could also reserve a part of land as "future agricultural land" just in case.
  18. What is a common thing or trope that always seem to happen?

That or when they are in such a vital strategic area that the small nations are able to take advantage of and get the larger nations to play well with them (Singapore, UAE, Panama, etc).
  19. What is a common thing or trope that always seem to happen?

Portugal is 92,230 km2, Israel is 22,072 km2 (not counting Palestinian territories). Portugal is over 4 times Israel's size. So yeah, I would not consider Portugal a small nation.
