Russia is involved and could aid diplomatically, ottomans are losing and Egypt is not as threatening to overthrow the ottomans
The thread is pretty interesting, but I just can't see it happening.
First of all, Egypt is already pretty much independent anyways.
Second, the Russians would not be able to aid diplomatically. OTL, the reason the Russians didn't completely destroy Turkey was because the British waved some warships in their face and said, more or less "now, slowly, very slowly, walk back towards that shredded armistice document and put your hands up". The Egyptians would get the same treatment, only their economy would also collpase, since it is controlled by European business intrests.
Third, Egypt's effect on the war itself will be negligible. In war, pre-1910 Turkey functioned as several countries with their own armies, since it was far too large for anything else to work. The Egyptians would not draw off troops from the Balkan front, since there would already be troops in Libya and the Levant to fight them.
