  1. AHC: Nice Guy Nazis

No ideas on Hitler adopting the Khazar theory to justify hating on Eastern European Jews but protecting German ones who might otherwise be inclined to support his program?
  2. WI; British Raj continued under independent Emporer?

It's my understanding Aurangzeb restored the jiziya. Who is Alamir?
  3. AHC: Nice Guy Nazis

On the matter of Hitler and his attitude toward the Jews, even if he decides that German-speaking, assimilated Jews (like, presumably, his mother's doctor) are fine, according to A New History of the Third Reich, there were a lot of Jewish immigrants from Russia and other Eastern European states...
  4. AHC: Nice Guy Nazis

Hitler dying early and his successors moderating the government and/or Hitler not being such a jerk seem doable. The problem is, as has been said, peeling away the most evil and deranged elements of the ideology eventually makes them not Nazis anymore.
  5. Españoles en Vietnam: Franco's last war.

If he sends war criminals or those inclined to be war criminals they could be a problem.
  6. "Corregidor of the Red Sea" or 'Can Italy shut down supplies to Egypt?'

What effects might that have on the campaign, operations elsewhere, etc.?
  7. WI: Joseph Stalin assassinated in September 1944?

That's a good point there. I don't know if the Red army will still be in "avenge our fallen god" mode when they get to Germany itself, but I could imagine a lot of freelance retaliation against German POWs and collaborators when word gets out.
  8. WI: Joseph Stalin assassinated in September 1944?

Heck, there were people in gulags who thought Stalin would get them out "if only he knew," which is what their grandparents said about the Czar.
  9. WI: Joseph Stalin assassinated in September 1944?

Your argument makes sense. How would this collective leadership look, depending on how was "first among equals"? A dominant Malenkov might not be so brutal, for example.
  10. WI: Joseph Stalin assassinated in September 1944?

How did people react when Stalin died OTL? Stalin was feared, yes, but he was also loved. Heck, a lot of old Russians today still venerate the man.
  11. AHC : Republican Spain in the Allies

Depending on the circumstances, OTL's French collapse could be avoided. In Dr. Strangelove's scenario, for example, "Sickle Cut" doesn't occur and France takes a much, much longer time to fall. That said, assuming the butterflies are minimized, your macro points still stands.
  12. foreign relations of a surviving apartheid south africa

Well I suppose a Palestinian COULD claim to have Jewish ancestry (I suspect a lot of them do) and convert to Judaism. Has that ever been tried?
  13. AHC : Republican Spain in the Allies

https://accordingtoquinn.blogspot.com/2017/06/franco-stays-loyal-no-spanish-civil-war.html Here's my blog post about the timeline in case it's a little TL; DR for your taste.
  14. AHC : Republican Spain in the Allies

https://www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/no-spanish-civil-war-in-1936-my-new-timeline.86718/ I think this is it. The board member Dr. Strangelove is Spanish and it's super-detailed.
  15. AHC : Republican Spain in the Allies

For Scenario #1, there's a long and detailed timeline somewhere on the board written by a Spanish guy about how Franco stays loyal to the Republic and the Spanish Civil War ends quickly with a Republican victory. Spanish troops fight in France and hold the Ardennes against "Sickle Cut" long...
