WW II Insanity Options

Salazar could be brought off. Just promise after the war no interference with his oversees provinces, forever. The estate nuevo survived nearly years more iOTL
Yeah but it's not enough. If the allies have to fight their way into Spain (not hard, tbh, considering the state of the country) they'd then have to face a defended Pyrenees from the french side, with no spanish support. At the end of a long logistics chain, in unfriendly territory. You need a friendly Spain.

Well you might at least get a co-operative one with promises of food shipments.

Gibraltar is a small price if it gets the Caudillo to behave.

Invasion of continental Europe by the Allies through authoritarian neutrals like Spain and Turkey.
I like the Turkey option. Once it's subdued, the allies have a straight shot up through the Balkans to Germany. And, to get more bang for their buck, they can also use it as a jumping off point to invade the USSR and prevent the Cold War.

Well... that's not so bad, tbh. You mean invade Spain, or Franco joins in? Cause that would give the allies a foothold in Europe, protected by the Pyrenees.
Just invade Spain, no Franco already joining the axis. I’m sure he would join the axis when Spain is invaded, but the insane part of the idea is that it’s just done.

the New Zealand-American Project Seal Tsunami bombs are Developed... IRL it was thought to be possible but they'd require a line of 2,000,000 kg (4,400,000 lb) of explosives about 8 km (5.0 mi) off the coast could create a destructive wave.

As the man said, why have one when you can have two for twice the price? The USA is wealthy enough for it to shrug off a lot of mistakes; fighting the war with two finicky, underpowered, resource-intensive bombers would make a noticeable dent.
The problem wouldn't be money, but construction space, workers and time. If you go B-15/19 and only B-17/24 latter to replace them, it will be 1944/45 before any of these fly... Luftwaffee says thank you.:coldsweat:
