WI Turkey joined the allies early, could they take Thrace?

What if Turkey had joined the allies in july of 1944 and managed to grab thrace and parts of bulgaria before Germany surrendered (in the same date as OTL), could they keep parts of the thrace after the war or they would have to return it to greece?

I think thrace would go to Greece. Maximum Turkey might get was dodecanese islands from Italy and even that was doubtful

It depends. If Turkey joins too early it turns into an even bloodier Greece sitation, and probably ends up turning into a Soviet satellite republic. Too late, and nothing happens.

You'd need Turkey to join pretty soon after the Battle of Kursk to be able to make any sort of palpable gains.

What exactly do you mean under Thrace? It's a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thraceregion that's shared by three countries, with the Bulgarian part the largest and the Greek is the smallest.
As for Turkey keeping any part of Greece, this is completely out of the question, since Greece is an allied country. Giving the Dodecanese islands to Turkey would be a very good way to help the Greek communists win the civil war.
In any case the scenario is exceedingly unlikely, since Turkey was then a much smaller country with a poorly armed military. Even by July 1944 the Axis could still do a lot of damage to Turkey or at least delay their advance long enough for the Soviets to move in even easier into Bulgaria.

Adrianople/Edirne was already part of the Turkish Republic....

I could imagine some very minor border alterations but nothing more than that.

Oh you meant grabbing land from Greece just like that? That's not how this kind of thing works.
