WI: Pyrrhus goes for Macedon

In 278 BCE, Pyrrhus of Epirus received two offers at the same time. One was from the Greek cities of Sicily, asking him to drive out the Carthaginians. The other was from Macedonia, asking him to take the throne. It was kind of like getting mutually exclusive quests in a video game. Pyrrhus chose to go for Sicily, and we know how well that turned out for him.

What if he'd decided to go for Macedonia instead?

Pyrrhos was tired of the Makedonian shits, Lysimachos duped him, Demetrios Poliorcetes took his wife, and The Makedonian Nobility kicked away his ass even after he helped them.
