I've been re-reading it again, and I've just realized that the geopolitics of this work contains many fallacies. And it also seems to show just a little too much of the political attiudes of the author. Have you read it?

Yes, it is.

Its about a colony ship leaving Earth for Tau Ceti in 2098, when something goes wrong and the ship appears at a LaGrange point near the Moon in 2009. Only one problem, they are from a timeline that split from ours around 1940. They're Americans, just not our current Americans...
