Thinking of changing the format so instead of running chronologically, I'll just post stuff from various dates throughout the elapsed time and concurrently upload a master document each time with everything available chronologically. I've got a LOT of plans and detailed stuff written out for years down the line and I realise that doing this day by day kinda means I'll be waiting years to show you guys some of it.

Also, doing it this way means I can (almost) always address specific questions/queries/ideas by readers which is super important to me - so please do engage so I can do that! :)

YouTuber killed in “swatting” incident in Colorado

Hello, the automatic translation gives crush in French. Was it a plane crash?

For the Chinese space station, technical incident, or meteorite debris still in space?

Oh, "swatting" refers to when someone calls the police on another person's house as a form of harassment: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swatting

As for the space station, it's widely presumed to be an explosion due to an oxygen leak, but China refused to ever divulge the messy details

So, the Chelyabinks meteor actually hits the city proper, rather than exploding in mid-air?
Yes - the meteor was larger than in our world, and so didn't break up in the atmosphere. Instead it hit Lake Chebarkul to the west of Chelyabinsk, turning it into a crater and devastating Chelyabinsk Oblast and Bashkortostan with the consequent fireball, shockwave, earthquake, and so on.
