Narrator: a new rule was established that every German withheld the right to walk into the center of Paris, pick out any French they wanted and spank the hell out of them. I made that last one up, but it helps you understand how all of this felt to French. On top of that, a bad economy and weak governments.

(Side Note instead of a British spanking a German it shall been a German spanking a French on TL-191 version of Oversimplified episode 2GW Part 1 now any changes like Mussoulini been saying Isn't there a not-yet-colonized nation somewhere, which is so underdeveloped that the people would be defending themselves against our tanks with literal bows and arrows and wooden spears?

(It's Ethiopia)

Oh, there is? Fantastic! it had to changed on something about Mussoulini invading Ethiopia to a TL-191 counterpart of that)

CSA Troopers climbing training in the wilderness, 1940. Due to the terrain of the Wilderness between West Virginia (USA), and Virginia (CSA), it was near impossible to send massive armies through the mountains. However the CSA, and USA trained troopers for mountain combat as well as border patrols across the Wilderness. During the Second Great War, the US Army, under the command of Gen. Daniel MacArthur attempted to send regiments through the WIlderness to assault the CSA trenches from behind. these attempts failed, from the difficult terrain causing soldiers severe fatigue, accidents or, CSA Border troops and local militias picking off regiments.

French Soldier in Occupied Ruhr, 1942. Since the start of the Second Great War. The German Region of Ruhr was under direct occupation by the Royal French Army. Reports from German Ruhr Partisans, and French Defectors tell of the crimes against humanity on the German Civilian Population. Rapes, murders, acts of terror, and reports of razing villages as a response to the German Partisan Activity.

After the end of the Second Great War, General Maurice Gamelin, Marshal of France, was charged by the German Empire with Crimes against Humanity for the 'Rape of Ruhr' however these charges were dropped, and Gamelin was treated as an Important POW.

Political cartoon of the Nullification Crisis.

The Nullification Crisis would be a founding myth for the Confederate States of America, with John C. Calhoun being considered a founding father of the Confederacy.

A U.S. Marine with the 6th Regiment lands at Pitt's Bay during the Second Battlle of Bermuda; circa August, 1943. Although there were conflicting opinions between the War and Navy Departments on the value of retaking Bermuda, the latter successfully argued that a successful operation would secure the Western Atlantic for the U.S. Additionally, holding Bermuda would better allow the U.S. Navy to run weapons and supplies to rebels in occupied Ireland.

Hollywood

An Cossack Americans family picture in Newly US City of New Archangel, Territory of Alaska 1950s.

Before the annexation of Russian America in the Aftermath of the Second Great War, they were numerous settlements of the Cossack Host near the beginning of the Alaskan colony in 1741 where they were search for otters fur and gold alike with Russian settlers and went to conflict with the indigenous tribes. Throughout the years after the Alaskan Smuta[1], the American colony began to grow naturally but Stable and soon many cities began to become grow increasingly as cultural centers of Alaska specifically in the Cossack hosts in the interior of Alaska in the late 19 century.

In the early 20th century, Alaska became the more distant culture compared to the Siberian coast and Mother Russia but still have connection with its homelands especially with the Cossack Alaskan who are descendent of the Ukrainian, Russian and Siberian hoist. The early 20th century of Russian Alaska would been irrelevant before the Great war started in Europe which results with dragging Alaska into war with not only Europe but also with the close enemy of the Yanks in the FGW, which have most of the Alaskan men’s sent there including the Cossack in the Cascadian front helping the Canadian forces.[2]

Cossack Alaskan on his horse preparing to be sent with his fellow Cossack Calvary into the meat grinder of the Canadian front, 1914 cira.

This was the first major contact with the American and the Cossack people and unlucky enough it’s happened to be in Cascadian battlefield where it’s wasn’t a good look for first impressions. While the Old Billy yanks regard the Cossacks as nothing but Drunk Russian bandits, but other younger soldiers think Cossacks as similar to the famous Cowboy from the Wild West who they grew up with especially with the guerrilla warfare by the Cossacks mirrored the Classic cowboy heist in the Old West novels, some even calling them names like “Frozen Cowboys”, “Russian Cowboys” and even “The Cowboys of the North”. In the Battle of Kamloops, the Cossack Calvary were soon become part of the America history when they charged across no man land against the Yanks guns and fought against the US cavalry with their own swords and guns throughout the battle, even its ended with the US winning its a massive cost thanks to the Russian and their Canadian friends. But most importantly that the Men’s of Cossack Cavalry showed the Yanks the taste of their people bravery and spirit in close person.

In the following interwar years, the Western genre who were only known in the Hot desert of California spike in popularity yet again with the new lands annexed by the US after the Great War. Many creators from the Western genre see this is an opportunity to expand the medium to go outside from Old West to New lands to explore about. This caused a new golden age for the Western genre as many stories migrated out of the Old West into the State of Tennessee and especially the large Canadian territories where many veterans settled in before being forced to defend themselves by either Canadian insurgents or Native tribes. And Remember the young soldiers who romanticize the Cossacks back in Cascadian front? Well many become either novelist of the Western genre or they were spread the Tales of Brave Cossack who could even match the classic cowboy in a fight!

Soon the Slavic Cossacks become more popularized in the Western genre throughout the Interwar era as characterized either Criminals, bounty hunters or bandits in the Canadian and Alaskan interior fighting the Cowboy’s of Old in the New lands of the North. They however were grossly neglected from actual Cossack culture and portrayed them acting like criminals who written by mostly Americans who don’t know anything about them than the most famous Western portrayal of Cossack. Actual Cossack people from the Russia Motherland especially Alaska absolutely hated the portrayal of them being nothing but bandits. They went as far as Russian America banned many famous western novels for the portrayal of them being bandits or Russians in general. Regardless of the Russian bans, many famous western works like Young Blood (1923), Roman Men’s (1926), Cossack Gun (1930) and the Famous Film, Cowboy of the North (1936) puts the Cossack Warriors on every American imagination in cinema and literature works.

The Revival of the Western Genre (or some other called it “Interior Genre”) [3] began to become more mainstream than ever before and with the White scare across the Pacific Northwest and the former Western Canada with the Rise of Growing threat within Tsarist Russia and Anti-Russian sentiment on the rises, caused of effect of making the Cossack more villainous and less sympathetic bandit thugs than ever before. This especially when Featherstone Confederacy alliances with Ultranationalist Russia as a member of Radius Power who were border with Central Power allies US. This wasn’t only for the western media but in every American media about the Russian normally in Colony of Alaska, where US portrayed them as nothing more than “Tsarist mercenaries” in the late interwar years. When Second Great War breakout and the whole American continent goes to war in 1941. There was no romanticizing of Cossacks but just another Russian puppet use by the Tsar rules

Battalions of Cossack Alaskans taking a break before transporting to the frontlines against the advancing Yankees near the still battling Mount McLeod, ca 1942

When the US army invading Russian America, Every able-bodied Russian men including the Cossacks rise to arms and join the defended their motherland as well as for protecting their hoist who were old enough to be passed down from generations to generations since the early years of Russian Alyaskan. While the US army led by General Floyd did initially advance across the Southern borders of Alaska, where most of Cossack host are located, they got beaten back with a bloody nose and the Cossack Calvary along with Russian tanks charged into the territory of Columbia & Yukon along with Japanese and Canadian allies against undersupplied Yankee during the Alaskan front. While the Union forces did have some experience with the Cossack with them during the defense of Kamloops, the Union Army was just gifted just the hints of the Cossack Warriors but Now can be fully unleashed with their full strength as they harass the Americans with surprise, sabotage, and cavalry tactics that make them infamous enemies among the ranks.

US Military started to have the advantage over the tie of the Alaskan front on a large offensive with divisions filled with Veterans from the 3rd Mormon Rebellion were send them into the battle against the Radius forces in occupied Yukon and Columbia. This resulting in a large success with most of territories recover by the Americans forces. This also not help that the Japanese betrayed them as starting to bomb the homes with their Ace bomber while finding on the front lines against the Americans. This doesn’t mean however that the Cossacks just sit around and do nothing. No, they do the opposite as they fight like hell with the Union forces in every each of ground, this resulting of American forces fear that there is a Cossack battalion while advancing in enemy line.

The US decided to invaded the Province of Russian Alaska as the final operation in the Alaskan front in the Spring of 1944. While on paper, this could be a easy operation for the US troops to embarking and Just crush any resistance remaining in Alaska, but in reality it was a hard burden to deal with as many American killed in the operation against the Russian defenders who including Canuck, native tribes and the Cossacks themselves. Cossack want to protect their host who was their land for many generations and their biggest fear was the US Government would taken the land then never giving them back to them again like the American did with the Indigenous lands in occupied Canada and Sequoyah. So that explains why American casualties and wounds were particularly more severe in the lands of Cossack Alyaskan host in the Southern parts of Alaska and were hard to crackdown to subjugate.

When the Motherland surrendered in Europe when the Bomb fell and the Japanese invaded over Siberia putting a new front entirely that make the protecting of Alaska a lot more difficult and wasteful. The Russian forces surrender to the American armies on Alaska. Many of the Cossack were hard to convince to surrender with the friends and foes alike but eventually they did surrendered but only if they land will give it back to them. American occupy all of the host during the negotiation which causes outrage from the Cossacks but since the Russian Generals negotiated with the American on the terms of surrender the Cossack might save their host from being seized.

US high command ended with the result of the American occupying all of the lands were previous known as “Russian America” would make it a territory similar to the Southern occupation and while the Russian settlers would have to fit in this territory, but what important enough to the Cossacks is the topic of the Alyaskan Host fate in the Territory of Alaska[4] where many of their men die for the protection of a century old lands, and the soon Americans reveal the fate of the Alyaskan host: The subject known as the Alyaskan Host will keep by the people of the Cossacks, but only if they were deuce their privileges of taxes and social ladder, but in any case they are still for used for the Cossacks.

Groups of Cossack celebrating after the US decision to give the Cossack Alyaskan host to the Alaskan, now American Cossacks, 1946 cira.

The Cossacks of Alaska were giving their host-land back but with the USA authorities stated they are reducing their privileges and sizes than the previous regime under the Czar but really that’s just a sacrifice for having their Alyaskan host back to them after the war. The Cossack host remained under the US protection as private property similar to reservation with the Indians in former Canada and the States but a lot more autonomy and more control over their land rights than the native Indians did with their indigenous land which would cause more controversy later down the line. But the Alaskan Cossacks (soon to be Cossack Americans) will soon have to adapt with the US territories of Alaska instead of the Old declining Czarist regime that they spend the majority of their history with into the rest of the 20th century and a new language to learn to boot as well.

After the United States territory of Alaska were established. Many of the young and old American soldier talk about their experience of the Cossacks during the Alaskan front of how they were the most bold and the toughest soldiers in the whole Czarist army, but at the same time stories read in the newspaper talk about Russian Cossacks were committing atrocities against the Jewry in Ukraine and Poland on a large scale never seen before since the Knmelnytsky Uprising during the Eastern front in Europe before the Russian surrender by the Kaiser bomb. This as well as the Russian emperor still in power even after the humiliated war stern a lot of Anti-Russian sentiment in the Postwar recovering United States and this is reflected in the medium as well into the 1940s. Russian portrayal were brutish than ever in Hollywood media especially with the recent emigrants from Eastern Europe who experienced the worst rule of Russia during the front, but it’s wasn’t as an close as vile like Confederates did as monsters and untrustworthy traitorous people who were popular in the media. Even still, this Anti-Russian sentiment lead into the arising portrayal of the Cossacks as the immoral bandits of mercenary of the tsar in American media.

This impact of Anti-Czarist Sentiments becoming Popular more with the advancement of black-and-white television, upcoming rise of Comic books novels and films into many American homes during the 50s era. This is coincide with the relevant popularity of Western/ Interior genre with the Cossacks Calvary becoming the new villains in Former Canada and Alysakan no different to the Indians horseman in the wild West from old tales who pillaging old towns and attacking defenseless settlers that the Cowboys protected and fighting back with. The Cowboys soon became replace with the veterans of the US occupy troops and settlers fighting off against the horde of the Cossacks and their receive bandits ways of their life. The Cossack hoists in which the Writers portray the host as nothing but a criminal territory just to do awful things against the settlers and exporting illegal goods like guns and ammunition to be sell with the Canadian and Mormon terrorist. Even the First Movie about the forgotten Alaskan front, the Cossacks portrayed as a Villainess Russified Calvary that strike fear of among the US soldiers and was more of a force of nature in the 1952 movie “Mount Mclead”.

While many of the bad stereotypes of the Cossacks was prevalent as before especially among the readers of the Western genre, it’s started to change from fearing to adoration again in the late 1950s. The Cossacks of Alaska who finally understand English were soon writing about themselves on novels and literature about their Cossack lifestyle and experience that make it more popular than instead of the villain. While a few novels like “Life of the Cossack Alyaskan Hoist” (1953) and Host of Smuta (1955) were published by the Cossacks themselves. It doesn’t change the fact that readers love the Cossacks lifestyle and how become more aware about the culture but even still, they were minority of the Mainstream Media portrayed as the Cossacks being more villainess and less empathetic towards their fellow man by again, Western writers. This is not talking about the anti-Russian sentiment was still prevalent during the middle of the 1950s and potrayal of the Cossack being Cowboys styled in adventurous novels while appealing was still sentiment of being the brutes of the tsar. This, however began to change as well into the late 50s.

The Year of 1956 when finally the Rotten Corpses of the Russian Empire has ended with a coup d’état led by General Zhukov who were supported by Anti-Romanov factions among the Military and Public alike, who believe that the Romanov and their institutions failed the Russian people and their country. The two wars with Germany as well as the Japanese surprise war in Siberia make the institution of the Tsar less credible and more incompetent to lead the Motherland and not to mention the Postwar uprising of not only with ethnic groups across Russia but the Russian peasant with the Economic, Social and Political decline from the Tsarist wars. Thus the Military apart from the loyalist Okhrama and Black Hundred decided to take their own hands by forcing Tsar Mikhail II to abdicate and ending the hundred years of the Romanov rules of Russia. They marched over Moscow then take over the remaining area controlled by the czar loyalists then ousted them in prison while the Russian people alike had hope for a better Russia with General Zhukov leadership who proclaimed themselves as the “Russian Democratic State.” After the taking of Moscow, the Romanov and their criminal enterprise of the Okhrama and their state sponsored industry were disbanded by the New Russian government but were a few uprisings with the Czarist loyalist in the provinces but all faded away from major support due to the failed wars they created.

Soon after the rebellious tsarist forces happened ended by the Zhukov army, He was in charge of a semi dictatorship with his generals control in Across the Russia nation and soon he’s famous reforms take place across the late 50s and 70s where soon the Old systemic system of the Russian structure that lasted 300 years were remove from power and improve upon on like with the vodka industry where it plague Russian family for century with alcoholism, Removing any signs of corruption in both the high levels of government, military and public services that only beneficial for the interests of financial influential, and finally the most important one by far was giving the Duma that was nothing but a façade parliamentary cabinet of the empire, actual say in the government that given them most of the power behind the Russian Vozhd during his reign. Though Zhuvok giving the Russian people into a one identity as Russian ione while ignoring the numerous other ethnic groups across the Russian border and while they were reforms Russia but also was purging against revolutionaries like socialists, ultranationalists, anarchist groups but thankfully also still don’t purge the remaining democratic groups from the country.

Soon after 18 years of dictatorship under his belt, he was dead cue for natural causes, but before that he declared that the Russian republic was now doing democratic democracy across Russia to elect a leader whose the Russian people will choose to govern them for at least 3 terms. He was also improving relationships with the western world like Germany, DF and of course America to their combined strengths against the Japanese empire of the Rising Sun in the east asia while sacrificing other enemies like the Declining Ottoman state for their own benefit. This close direction with the west also improve the Russian economy Across the world as industry, trade and media was booming throughout the 60s and 70s that was help by Vozhd Zhukov.[5]

This events change the Russian nation to become more connected into the Western world and changed Old institutions into a semi democratic and progressive one that were neglected for all those years under the Tsar power. It’s also change the Classic Russia stereotypes to become less brutal and the chances of a Democratic Russia with Western ideals be more popularized by Pop culture throughout the late 50s towards into what’s considered Russian Golden Age of the 80s[6]. This as well as the increase of Cossack writers began to give the representation of the Cossacks more attention than any previous era in Media, this started many actors who are actual Cossack descent playing Cossacks role in which they are either support cast or even one of the main characters in the show or movie throughout the 60s to 80s where are most of the popular Cossack characters are from. The Westin genre become more excepting of the Cossacks as a respected people, and even some of the writers were Cossack themselves and even talk about the old stories of the Alaskan wilderness and the history behind them as a people, some stories. Even some Films like “Romanov Gold” (1976 ) have the Cossacks and the American Cowboys come together to fought against a Common enemy, which in the film, Remaining Black Hundredist who hidden treasures of the Czar gold somewhere in Alaska.

Scene of Stephan Petrovich, (a Russian Creole) speaking with his Calvary Commander, Roman Loren about the Ongoing Siege in Kamloops by the Yankee in the Movie Adaptation of the Previous mention Novel, Roman Men’s (1983)

However, The Representation of the Cossacks went downhill from popular media in the late 80s to 90s as the the entrance of Cossacks going irrelevant arise with the new trend being Dinosaurs and Science fiction genre taking attention away from being relevant. This especially notable with western genre as many of films TV show and folks doesn’t have the same appeal and interest from the old golden age of the interwar years and the post 50s audience with speculated that the genre go out of style and feel unoriginal compared to the rest of the other genre compared to Horror, Thriller and Historical movies into the late 70s to 97 cinema. Thus the Pop Culture left the Cossacks alone with their popularity films, television and novels that while still influential in Popular Culture in America, isn’t as big as during the Golden age of Western in the 1960s to 80s.

Some people would have thought it’s nothing but just than some Russian Cowboy’s shooting some natives or American settlers with no Real theme ongoing in the Story, but that really not the case as many stories aren’t just that but if you can have the talent for it, then you can make something masterful and beautiful storytelling with the Cossacks as the main focus of the story. There is however a Famous Novel Series about the Cossack that was not only considered to be the Best Representation of Cossack in media but One of greatest books in Western Literature in general when its first comes out in the Year of 1991. When it first released, the Novel had little attention before have a rapidly gained popularity due the rising interest from Indigenous media in the early 90s at the time and soon become the Ones of its Best Sellers in the New York Times and the Times Magazine was quoted to say about the Novel as “The Greatest Non-American Novel in American Literature.’”

The Novel was called Host-land

Picture of Younger Awan looking up into the sky while living in an American Indian residential school located in Yukon far away from his family in the Acclaimed HBO Adaptation Miniseries, Host-Land (2010)

Host-land (7) following the life of a American Indian named Awan Apenimon in the Native reservation of the formerly Canadian province known as Manitoba, where he go outside at the reservation and was kidnapped by a White man only named was “William” who pretended to have a broken car in the roadside to tricks him. Awan was trafficked in a Grain Truck with other native childrens like him to forcing attend into a Catholic run boarding school located in Yukon as a part of a new wave of American policy to expand the previous government assimilation efforts across Canada[8]. When he arrived at the school, they force any native children into western clothing that’s so tight it hurts them, cut all their long hair into modest lengths to have “civilize haircuts” and make them to choose a Western name to begin the assimilation process. Awan white name during school was “Thomas Jackson” unrelated to the famous confederate general, Stonewall Jackson but who was chose by Head priest to mock Awan attempt to prevent him to have a white named and trying to stop his American assimilation to preserve his heritage but that resulted to have his first beaten by the clergy in his two years of hell in the Yukon School.

During his time that the Residential school, he attended every Sunday on Church, Goes to farming while barley know anything about it and finally the worst beaten or punishments persecuted by the priest and nuns in the school were beginning to be worse, after worse beatings in his life. Soon Awan or “Thomas” has been having night terrors, more frighten and show a lot of traits of PTSD during his schooling that resulted with him the more isolated from his peers, and more often got beaten into submission by School staff. “Thomas” was a model student for avoiding his culture even know it was caused by his trauma from his time at the school and fears of punishment from the especially Nun Sisterhood.

Those two years in the Yukon School was hell to the native children’s who were sent there but it’s got worse when the Head-priest of the School say they’re going to be transferred to another School that rumor to be even worse than Yukon School with giving them numbers and use spikes into the tongue if they were caught speaking their language. This announcement and the rumors was the final straw that broke the camels back with the students who plan to escape school by leaving the kitchen on the fire and get enough time to escape into Russia Alaska where maybe just maybe have a chance to escape from this hell. So eventually when the last night they were supposedly going to this school in the morning, they including Awan set the kitchen on fire and pack the bags and leave into the forest where they go to the Alaskan border.

All of the kids were either caught by the American border guards or died of starvation and hypothermia within the Canadian forests all except for one, Awan who was exposed to hyperthermia, starvation and wounded caused by American soldier shooting at him into the border with Russia. All that’s left him mortified beyond belief but regardless of his condition, he still has enough faith that he went to Alaska and passed out in the Middle of Nowhere in Russian Alaskan territory where he would never be hurt by anyone else again.

Soon Awan wake up on campus site with Russian Cossack Squads that the leader introduce himself as “Mikhail Ivan” who talks to little awan about why he was middle of the blizzard, where his parents and tribes at or anything useful at all. He decided to tell him the truth about his situation, but I realize that he can’t speak Russian at all and realize he could escape and live with them as a Cossack. Soon they travel to destination of the Alaskan Host where the Ataman at the time the side of his fate to return from where he came from and when the local English translator describe to Awan, he went on a panic trying to please his case of not going back and explaining what he face on the Yukon school, Ataman remains stoic however and try to get the Indian boy out of his land with his mens before Ivan tell the Ataman that if the Indian want to stay with the Cossacks, he had to fight with a Cossack.

Ataman agreed would see if Awan was willing to be a Cossack and soon got him a sword and finally settled on the duel. While the duel was one-sided enough that the Duma try to Naveen and say it’s over before when Awan do a swim job attack and agile movements. Cossacks crowd including Ataman who observe him think he actually doing well so far, some think he’s a good candidate be a cossack and look like to be actually winning before Commander Ivan got serious and easily defeat him with almost cut his neck with his sword which means he won the battle with ease. Awan have his mental breakdown really he’s going to go back to hell scape of aschool before Ataman announces that he have the skills to become a Cossack and announces that he can stay in the host with them. This makes Awan cry with a relief and laughter before Siri can you train along with a Cossack on their host into the Interwar years and eventually the Second Great War.

And that’s enough context that you can read the whole novel by yourself without worrying about spoilers and major plot point’s across the Novel but regardless it’s still worth reading for the quality of the characters and writing. This novel have a loyal fanbase across the Country especially among the Cossack and Native American viewers who like the portrayal of the their ethnic identity together was such a great details along with having Amazing elements of the Story about Awan Anton. This novel also spawn adaptation from HBO miniseries with the same name that win several awards like acting, cinematography and drama that much fan of the original novel agree with being a faithful adaptation but there also have some problems among the fans how they turn down the violence and character development to make it better for television but besides that, it was still beloved among the Audience of America but not all of them not Americans.

There was a Strange phenomenon happen in Russia[9]. Russian translation of the Novel began to show up in Russia in 1993, where unexpectedly its have rapidly popularity among the Russians readers and was among the most widely popularized translated book during the 1990s. Unlike with the US, the 1990s with Russia were filled with economic decline and social problems like unemployment and crime began spilling across of the Russian republic everyone try to avoid escapism but it’s appear everyday that people term this decade of Russia has “The Lost Decade.”[10]. This Novel who were made by America but also relate enough to be basically a Russian novel that have a Powerful message to have a better life and struggle with the title wave of life among the Russian readers during the chaotic period of the 90s and that’s why they resonate so much with them compared their American counterpart. Some people think that the Russian side of the Host-land fanbase a lot more numerous and way popular than with the American fans with many references of the novels be a lot more frequent with Russian pop culture than some American ones from Hollywood.

The Most often quotes from Host-land is the Quote from Awan in the latter of the Book that said: “I spent 6 years as an Indian, 2 years as American and Another 17 years as Russian but now I am nothing.” which was quote and parody across American and of course Russian media.

But overall, one of the greatest representation of the Cossack in decades and as well as a great example for GAN and maybe even a Great Russian Novel as well.

Cossack Americans dressed up with their traditional clothes on Alyakan Host, 2017

Today, what consider a Cossack now become more of a lifestyle from the average American perspective but with the Cossack hosts in the state of Alaska is more than a lifestyle, but a proud identity for being Frontiersman in the wilderness of Alaskan Winter. While uses of the Calvary not feasible an effective at the used to be, it doesn’t change that some studies suggest that Cossack Americans still join the military has a higher rates than the average rate for American and joined in every Post-SGW Conflicts in US. People outside of the Cossacks hoist are interested and respected the Cossack lifestyle so much that even some people want to become Cossacks themselves and vice versa, with some Cossacks want to become Cowboys in the Pacific and plains states that some people even create the term “Cossboys”- Descendent Cossack to become and living a Cowboy lifestyle or “Cowsack”- American Cowboy becoming a honorary Cossack who practiced the way of a Cossack in a Host Community.

As it stands the Cossacks in American media, they have better reputation while still having a stereotype but isn't as harmful as during the 40s when they portrayed them as immoral bandits. Not only the Cossack way of life is still represented in stories about the Northern territories of the U.S. but there customs and traditions as well still present written by both Non-Cossack or Actual Cossack writers in Popular Media like Hollywood studios even though they have some inaccurate things about them overall, however the Cossacks representation is still very different but in a good way this time.

As we end this post, I will recommend you hearing about this old quote from this interview from this is 1986 Interview with Old US veteran, William H Thomas during the front describe the Cossacks during the Battle of Volkova as “The Most Craziest son of a bitches in my life and By God, They will fight like Hell if you mess with them.”

This is probably the most detailed post I’ve have ever made in this thread so I hope you did enjoy it.

1: Alaskan Smuta was a term made by Russian settlers referred to time of troubles in the beginning of the Alaska colony before being moderated stable enough in the latter half of 19th century.

2: Cascadian and the Alaskan front was created by @S. Marlowski and I hope I don’t upset you with using more ideas for this post about the Cossack mate. Also guys from there, check his other posts from the Photo threads too. It’s amazing as well

3: Interior genre was a new term for connecting the Canadian and the new territories of the Americas by US during the 1920s throughout the 1970s before its dying genre during the 90s to 2000s.

4: TTL US territories of Alaska, but with a lot more Russian settlers and soon a shit load of American military personnel into the Cold Alaskan interior

5: Zhukov is basically The Russian Ataturk in this Headcanon

6: Golden age of the 1980s in Russia was similar to OTL US where economic rise, Russian media is freer and more frequent than ever compare to any other period in Motherland history before. Hell even some Russian movies were hit outside of Russia. world wide.

7: Imagine Action of Vinland Saga and the Deep themes + Character Development of Red Dead Redemption 2 but riding with the Cossack Calvary in the Alaskan interior with Native American Protagonist. That is Host-land

8: Unlike with @Jett-Power . This America doesn’t use the residential schools as propaganda and the reason why is because first nations resistance harder against the American invasion during FGW because the history of American massacres in and breaking agreements with tribes a lot more frequently and following occupation who becomes more oppressive doesn’t help with the growing tension with the tribes. This unfortunately lead up to the US to expand the residential school system that was left in Canada to more extreme on American Assimilation look at tribes and like Awan, have a lot more native kids being kidnapped and taken away from their families into the Boarding schools.

This another reason is reducing the tension by American military between the US forces and Canadian people who began to blame the Native tribes for their shortcomings who led the most their anger to instead of fighting against the Occupation Forces which causes division in the Canadian population especially on the Western Canada.

9: It actually was inspired by equally strange phenomenon in Latin America where the hispanics are super fans with DBZ and i’m not even a joke at all bros. So I’ll make this equivalent phenomenon to the TTL Russians with Host-land being wildly popular among Russian fans and even reference and inspiration to not only Russia but also with other Eastern European nations as well. So expect this imagine from the Russian cities like Chelyabinsk but instead of Goku, it’s Awan Cossack-self with Russian subtitles

10: Lost Decade in Russia is most similar to the Japanese ones in the 90s than with The post Soviet countries in disastrous decades of the 1990s especially in Russia. This TTL Lost Decade however still has more organized, poverty, and general crime but not on the scale to OTL 90s Russia federation
Re-post it here because how lengthy and detail it is for

The Blitz (Lightning) rocket, introduced in April 1966,is perhaps the most indispensable launch vehicle in the DLR inventory, with over 800 launches to its credit as of 1999. The December 1981 launch of a Blitz II rocket with several engineering satellites is pictured here:

The political cartoon of the Battle of Liberty Place, the "Louisiana Outrages," illustrated in Harper's Weekly, 1885.

Following the Second Mexican War, the Confederate States began a slow, gradual emancipation from slavery. Many resisted emancipation. A notable example was in Louisiana. A group of White Supremacists called the White League had hoped to overthrow the state government of Louisiana and spark a greater pro-slavery uprising across the CSA. On September 14, 1885, the White League took over the statehouse, armory, and downtown area of New Orleans for three days. Under orders from James Longstreet, the Confederate army crushed the uprising.

Monument to the Battle, ca. 1939.

After the Freedom Party overthrew Huey Long, a memorial was erected to honor the White League, labeling them as "heroes." The monument was destroyed during Louisiana's re-admission to the Union.
