No Henry the Impotent of Castile?

Henry IV was known as the Impotent as was not a great king. He was followed upon his death by Isabella the Catholic and who was his half-sister. Henry's mother was Mary of Aragon who died after bearing Henry. Isabella's mother was another Isabella, from Portugal.

What if Mary dies without having an issue at all and Isabella and her little brother Alfonso are the only surviving children if John II dies on schedule? Isabella is 4 at the time and Alfonso 2. In OTL Alfonso died of illness (or maybe foul play) in 1468 and Isabella ended up becoming queen in 1471.

So what result if there is a regency for Alfonso from 1454 when John of Castile died?

Neither John II nor Henry IV were very close to their first wives, but at least John was pragmatic enough to "cease contact" only after having one male child. So if Henry IV is not conceived, he'll just keep trying until he has one. And he has 20 years left before his wife kicks the bucket, and she wasn't steryle.

Now about the second marriage. John decided to have one because his only son had been married for 10 years and had not seen his wife, literally, since honeymoon. He decided to marry himself again and have another child so the succession was secured.

So wether A!Henry is as "shy" as his OTL counterpart or not, both Isabella and Alfonso are out of the picture because of pure butterfly effect, even if John's second marriage is with the same woman.
