Design a better wagon for British Tanks

In 1946 they did manage to transport the A39 Tortoise to and around Germany despite the 78 tons weight. It apparently had few mobility problems on its tracks except finding bridges to take the weight and was driven about on the road tank transporters of the time with a lot of tank sticking out on each side.

I have not been able to find any reference to rail transport but I suspect it would have been rail transported to the port and on to Germany from the receiving port.

And according to the pic on wiki, towed by a pair of Diamond T tank transporters :D
So yes, outsize tanks were definitely a solvable problem from a transport perspective. Unfortunately in the 1930s the War Office was specifying that tanks had to be non-troublesome to transport...
