DBWI: The New Rise series

So I just finished reading the ninth and final installment in the New Rise series. I thought some of it was a little strange (especially SPOILER Barack Obama becoming president of the United States towards the end), but overall, I enjoyed it. Ramirez made the right decision by collapsing the Soviet Union right at the beginning--that random communist superpower was getting annoying.

But what does everyone think about this insanely popular book series? I've seen people fly US flags all over Plymouth, from Maine to Manitoba. Its British Empire in book six has inspired the English rebels in the French Civil War. Its characters will always inspire the imagination: fictional ones like Napoleon and Adolf Hitler, and real ones like Brigham Young and J.F. Kennedy who have been fictionalized.
