I'm wondering if anybody here has an idea how to extend WWI into the 1920s without ASB stuff like aliens, magic, etc. I presume the Spanish flu may have some impact, but I'm not sure.

There is a novel called "1901" that deals with a war between Germany and the US. Basically, Germany is pissed that the US won't sell them the Phillipines and invade Long Island and Brooklyn.

Canadians are just Americans in denial. ;)
