As Dreamers Do Part Deux

When in doubt have Henson sign the deal to make the alliance

Hobbit to Henson?

Saul Zaentz, now 89, is weighing his options as The Jim Henson Company offers $200 million USD to Middle-earth Enterprises and Paramount Pictures for the distribution rights to The Hobbit. Zaentz hopes each party will reach an agreement to co-produce The Hobbit with New Line Cinema, who released the Lord of the Rings trilogy almost a decade ago.

What he could do is buy the Hard Rock theme park in Myrtle Beach since that one is still up for sale.

I suggested that buffet buy hard rock in a pervious post I made today. I also suggested that Micheal Jackson , Katy Perry Macon’s lady Gaga Rhiannon Beyoncé and Elton John buyout hardl. I still like the idea of buffet building a park compeye with a margarita vile resort on the site of hoopla. I would call it paradise park or polyenise paradise,. If Micheal Jackson buys out hard rock I still hope he builds a park from scratch with a petter pan themed kid section a haunted town counting a haunted school and mall dark and a theater counting a thriller simaluaroe and si if I section if. A captain eo cartoon if he buys out then rights. Form disney

You know......Henson having The Hobbit would work.

oldnavy I feel Micheal Jackson would be. Better fit for hard. Rock. I still hope he will build a park from scratch with a haunted section who big e tick is a thriller simulator housed in a mock theater. Because of his love of the idea I see buffet building a park called paradise park or paradise kingdom in either Cuba or Hawaii.

COUNTER-OFFER?

In response to Saul Zaentz offering Paramount's Hobbit rights to Henson, Walden Media has offered to move distribution of the Chronicles of Narnia film franchise from Paramount to Henson after the release of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by Paramount later this year. The fans of Narnia and the fans of the Lord of the Rings franchise anxiously await a resolution to this sword-and-sorcery game of musical chairs.

SONY ATLANTIS?
The Winnipeg Free Press reports that CanWest has been talking to Sony's Canadian branch for over a year on a possible sale of Alliance Atlantis to Sony in a bid for CanWest's survival. A possible sale of Alliance Atlantis to Sony would allow CanWest to use the potential cash infusion to focus solely on the Global television network.

During one tense meeting in the Gidget writer's room, Dwayne Johnson pitched an entire episode in which his character Russell Lawrence was to perform his signature "Rock Bottom" wrestling move on a boy that spies on Gidget in the girls' locker room at school. When the Standards and Practices at Oaxis flat out rejected his pitch, The Rock reportedly threw what one writer called a "Hissy fit."

Oldnavy you sometimes set up polls. Do you think it would be a good idea to set up a poll on who buys hard rock park

Whomever ends up buying will need to do a lot of marketing to get more people to come to the park.

Especially since the recession kinda put the park out of business very quickly IOTL.

I am glad you are intersted in getting the hard rock park question settled. Of my list micheal jackson is the best bet but I want him to build a park form scrat and give it a peter pan theme kid section a haunted town with two dark one themed to a school and the other a mall and a thriller simualtor house in a building with a theather fadace and may a sicfi seciton if he buys the right to captin eo form disney. I alos like the idea of jackson starting a film stuido and making a captin eo feature film. Because of his love of tropics sema more liekly to build a park in cuba or hiawai then buy out hard rock. Beside the celbierty on list there is also Palace entemtne cedar fair bally ( They could use a new south east american park after sellign cirucus world) six kigns and landry reasturnt. Landry may seem like an odd pick but they do a own kehama boardwalk and glavston plesure peir

What I'd see occurring is Skyfall in 2012 (considering that the Craig reboot was meant to be more story-driven, I see no reason to assume that this TL would erase that, especially after the Brosnan era), and then something like "Everything or Nothing" in 2015/2016 as a follow-up to another Craig trilogy, with a similar scope to OTL's Spectre-No Time to Die storyline but a bit longer to allow a suspenseful buildup. Here's my idea:
2012 - Skyfall (largely the same as OTL, outside a few minor story beats)
2015/2016 - Everything or Nothing (same general story as the game, and it was actually apparently adapted from a 5th Brosnan film adaptation, so perhaps this is more accurate to what it was meant to be as a film)
2021: Devil May Care (based upon the Bond novel of the same name; in short, British businessman is smuggling heroin, weapons, and nuclear waste to Sudan and Bond investigates. Acts as part 1 to Craig's conclusion as 007.)
2022: Carte Blance (also based upon the Bond novel of the same name; in short, a fictional Sudanese dictator is attempting to build dirty bombs to destroy Cairo and Addis Ababa in retaliation for them supporting South Sudanese independence. Bond dies or disappears after the mission is completed.)

Full disclosure, I didn't like that Bond was killed off in No Time to Die IOTL.

Though sooner or later, I think Daniel Craig will still want to let the character be recast when he wants to move on to other projects.
