First War of Supremacy
This is the name used in Look to the West for the War of the Spanish Succession, also known as Queen Anne's War in North America.
As the war took place before the POD, its events were identical to those of OTL: a French Bourbon king inherited Spain but plans for a Franco-Spanish union were halted; war raged across Germany and the English/British general John Churchill, the Duke of Marlborough, became a legend; a Hungarian independence movement was defeated by Austria; the British and Dutch navies raided Spanish shipping; the fighting in Spain gave birth to most of the traditions of the later British Army; Jacobite rebellions in 1709 and 1715 raged in Scotland and the personal union of England and Scotland became the Kingdom of Great Britain with the Act of Union 1707.
