It wasn't until 1983 when Aguero was overthrown that Cuba finally become a liberal democracy. The Republic of Cuba is closely allied with the United States, some Cuban nationalists believe their government to be little more than America's lapdog. The capital city of Havana is known throughout the world as the city of neon lights, in other words the Las Vegas of this timeline, and is considered by many to be the Amsterdam of the America's.
