An Eye Looks Towards The West: A Jewish Colony in the Caribbean

A Jewish-focused, Dutch Empire and Suriname timeline, with a 17th century divergence, written by PrinceofApathy. In gradual development since July 2020. You can read it here.

Premise and POD

The 17th century. With the help of the Dutch Empire, a Portuguese-Dutch Jewish community establishes a sizable colony in OTL Suriname, founded primarily by the Sephardic Jews of Portugal and their relatives in the Netherlands.
