An old timeline, created by Rafi Issoghlian in 2002, way back in the days of the Old Board. It is a medieval/early modern timeline centered around the Byzantine Empire.

It deals with the move of the pope from Rome to Constantinople (the POD), earlier scientific and technical achievements, the emigration of the Saxons to the New World and many other interesting developments.

The title was inspired by Diamond.
