An ongoing story by Thande, set in the same universe as Moonstruck and The Surly Bonds of Earth. Instead of focusing on humans, however, this tells the tale of the rise of an alien race, the Doagori, via an interview by a human journalist of a Doagor named Scop Hiojj.

Xhhax (the Doagorik homeworld) has been Thande's pet worldbuilding project since 1988, so a lot of the setting and characters have been literally twenty years in the making.
