Alongside them were numerous independent candidates. The [[Socialist Dreamers Party]] proved popular early on and, by July 17, appeared well on its way to winning a plurality of seats. Several of the smaller parties struggled to win over as many members, though. In a bid to attract more members, the [[Motionlessness Party]] briefly changed its name to the [[New Keep Everything the Way It Was Party]].
