Tom_NUFC has been a member of the Alternative History website since the autumn of 2007.

Tom was born and brought up in the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne, where he continues to live. A history graduate of Northumbria University in Newcastle, he has a long interest in the subject and alternate history.

Tom is currently working on alternate history scenarios involving America and the world since the British victory in the American rebellion, a world in which Hitler was killed in the closing days of World War One, and a more sci-fi scenario where the late 18th and early 21st centuries collide.

Aside from history, Tom enjoys watching football and is a lifelong supporter of Newcastle United, who continually bring him both pleasure and pain. He also watches Newcastle Benfield, a local non league side that play next door to where he went to school.

Tom also listens to a lot of Rock and Indie music. His favourite bands include, The Stone Roses, Oasis, The Clash, Smashing Pumpkins, Maximo Park, Rolling Stones, Joy Division, New Order, Klaxons and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - and if you think that’s a long list, there are a countless number of other bands that he’d like to include but hasn’t done as you’d be reading this for a week.
