Joined the board in 2007. An American of Eurasian (Chinese and white) extraction, he likes to pretend he knows a lot about China. Primary interests regarding AH are 20th century/WW2/Cold War/East Asian topics. Highly wary of Marxism and its apologists. 2nd languages are Mandarin and German, with pretenses toward learning Russian and Japanese. Largely indifferent toward US politics as a whole but usually sides with the Democrats because they haven't recently been the guys trying to spend the country to death through the idiocy of simultaneous warfare and tax cuts.
