Cool volcanic island with a population of only 250,000, all of whom know each other and use patronymics. Does not appear much in AH except as a necessary stepping stone to Leif Ericsson's colonisation of America. Originally a Norwegian/Danish colony. Has one of the oldest parliaments in the world, known as a Thing.
