Since then, several members have used the thread for its intended purpose and it has gone through various phases, being one of the longest threads in Nonpolitical Chat.

Locked in November 2008 after exceeding 5000 posts, of which over 1100 were by Sen. Wheeler himself.

Succeeded by “I'm drinking… II” thread.
