Equatorial Guinea
Guinea is one of the central African countries. It's government is unfortunately one of the more authoritarian ones in that particular region. EG is also one of the very few countries in Africa that were held by Spain as colonies until modern times. EG was known as “Spanish Guinea” until independence, and its official language is Spanish. The post-independence name change reflects the country's geographic latitude.
Equatorial Guinea borders Cameroon in the north and Gabon in the east and south. Its western border consists of its Atlantic coastline, geographically part of the Gulf of Guinea.
