Ed Costello

A British member from Liverpool with a sense of humour and a strong sense of civic pride. His contributions include… er… hold on, there was - no, wait… nope, we got nothing. He's not a lurker; he just doesn't do anything.

Is a musician in a band, which, if you're going to fulfil any stereotype of being Liverpudlian, is probably the best one to do. A music video based on an older song by the band even won a minor award back in 2013.

Ed once had the terrifying impression AH has started seeping into his real life…

Works

Ed didn't write much initially, but he's started to contribute mostly shorter stories and narratives to the Writer's Forum in recent years.

Among other things, he's written a series of AH stories about an ATL Royal Airship Service:

The Big Village - Liverpool AH, from the POV of a book published in ATL 1962.

Into the West Wind - Set in 1960.

Zephyr Brigade! - Set in 1962.

Some of his standalone TLIADs and vignettes:

Seven Cities: A TLIAD

Vignette: Death Of A Greyhound

The Thalassocrats

The Darling Buds Express

The Lord High Treasurer: A mini-vignette

Two Dogs Fighting

AH Vignette – 'Impossible Promises'

TLIAFD: "What Is Going On ?"

Harbours and Havens

A one-off story contributed to a Sea Lion Press contest:

Of Whom We Know Nothing

And a Railway Series-as-AH fanfic:

A Sodor Holiday: A Travelogue of the North Western Railway

In AH.com Fiction

Has a brief appearance in Doctor What's Snake Oil.

Has appeared in AH.com The Series several times, always being brutally killed off, but is always willing to come back for more.

He's scheduled to appear at least briefly in a future AH.com Enterprise prequel mini-episode, as a jolly British sky pirate from one of the timelines of the multiverse. Hopefully, his character will stay alive for a change. ;-)
