Rabid Shetlands-based Scottish nationalists will also claim Denmark is included due to its vile occupation of the 'Faroe Islands'. This of course is silly. Equally absurd is an attempt by some Irish nationalists to re-dub the islands as either the “Anglo-Celtic Isles” or, even more surreally, the “Northwest European archipelago” or “the islands in the North Atlantic”.
