Just a small nitpick there: these are the modern regions Alsace and Lorraine of France. Imperial German Alsace-Lorraine did have different borders. It included only a small part (the northern strip adjacent to the German border, precisely) of Lorraine.
This is indeed a current map of the region in question which most people are familiar with, not an historical one. I thought this might come up, but if you wish to add an historical one, then please go right ahead, and note it as such. EDIT: I have now added an 1871 map showing the Imperial German area.
